Kamron Caldwell, a 19-year-old from Indiana moved to Southington, in Hartford County.
Shortly after he arrived in Connecticut, he lost several thousand dollars worth of belongings on Monday, June 8, reported Eyewitness News 3.
The belongings, which included everything he owned from his clothes to a beloved skateboard deck, were stolen out of his truck.
Caldwell, a content creator with dreams of becoming a megastar on both YouTube and Instagram, told Channel 3 that despite the thefts, he is still staying in his new home with a friend's family.
"I’m super blessed to have this opportunity and so far I've loved every second here, so it’s great," Caldwell told Channel 3.
The lost that hit the hardest, the skateboard deck is one item he hopes the police can recover.
Caldwell said the deck was custom made with his nickname "King Kam," which makes it easy to spot.
In the meantime, some of his new neighbors have donated items, including a local company Savage Team Wear who donated clothes, Channel 3 said.
If anyone sees the skateboard or any of Caldwell’s belongings, they're asked to contact the Southington Police at 860-378-1600.
